Intro to Belly Dance
An introductory course to Middle Eastern Dance. No previous experience necessary. We will learn the basic movements of Belly Dance, including head, ribs, and hip isolations, hip thrusts, lifts, drops, and circles. We will also learn how to put basic movements, steps, and arms together to accompanying music, as well as the principles of collective improvisation. By the end of the course we will have our own Belly Dancing troupe!
Beginners Belly Dance I, II, and III
Three levels of beginners' Belly Dance technique. We will build a sound Belly Dance movement vocabulary, from hip drops and chest slides to undulations and shimmies. We will also work on posture and gracefulness, and learn about rhythms and the history of Belly Dance.
Intermediate Belly Dance
For students who have mastered the basic concepts and skills of belly dance. We will work with more advanced movements, such as belly rolls, and more complex and layered shimmies.
Group Improvisation Tribal Style Belly Dance I and II
Learn how to follow and lead with hand and arm cues based on American Tribal Style (R) . In this dynamic process in which the position of leader is shared through rotation, a wonderful feeling of accomplished teamwork arises as we reach coordination.
Tribal Fusion Belly Dance
Learn movements, combinations, isolation and layer techniques of this modern hip-hop infused style, often fused with other world dances - such as Indian, Gypsy, Flamenco, Latin, or African.

Latin Dances I
Learn the basic movements for dancing Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbia. This course is perfect for those who have no previous experience with Latin Dancing. Learn the basic movements for dancing Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbia. We practice the basic couples hold and turns, but it is not necessary to register in couples.
Latin Dances II
We will review basic steps and learn more complex combinations for Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, and Cumbia, as well as have fun trying out diverse Latin Rhythms such as Norteñas, Punta, Tango, and Samba.
Latin Dance and Belly Dance Work-Outs
The purpose of this classes is not to appropriately learn to perform these dance genres, but to use their fun and energetic movements to give ourselves a cardio work-out to the faster rhythms.
Salsa I, II and III
A series starting from the basics of ballroom style salsa, through simple turns, all the way to more complex combinations, advanced steps, and syncopated movements.
Tango I, II, and II
A series starting from basic ballroom style Argentine tango, starting with walking and basic figures, all the way to fancier movements, hooks, turns, and endings.
